introduction
Hello and welcome to my place in space! This site will mainly be about my Metaphysical studies @ the Academy of Metaphysics, and to share with your the different facets of metaphysics - from Energy Healing, Numerology, Crystals, Tarot (Angel cards) all the way down the 48 subjects to Soul Relationships, Soul Integration and Soul Art!
why metaphysics?
If you live your life according to someone else's standards & believes (like I have) - or even do & believe what you think is "accepted by society" you are living a lie! and you are not true to yourself. Find your own truth... you will find it deep within yourself. I have no intention to force my believes on anyone - and by no means do I say what you believe in is wrong. Follow your inner guidance - if something does not feel right inside, I can promise you it's not!
I have always been interested/attracted to spirituality (not religion)... in the power of the Mind, Guardian Angels, Spiritual Guides, Astrology, Numerology, Hand Analyses, Past Lives - to mention a few. I think my upbringing by a strict, religious father (who is also a Minister in the church) - has turned me toward less-structured avenues of spirituality. I was not allowed to question his faith - I just had to accept it. I think what I found the hardest was to "fear" my Creator - the two just did't blend for me...
To even think about anything metaphysical those days was "from the devil!" and you will hear something like "We don't talk about that in our family". And it is still true for some people out there today - Luckily for me, my 'soulmate' & husband gives me the freedom to BE, to explore, and have an active interest in my path of spiritual growth/exploration. It was only after my mother passed over in 1999, that the questions I had about life start hammering in my head... I asked a lot of questions about life, why we are here, what is the purpose?
I understand now that it was no accident that I was born into an overly strict religious household. The purpose was to drive me away from old, conditioned behaviour patterns into new paths of thought - to search for my own path of spirituality.

It is only now (2006) that the doors opened for me (actually it was open all the time... all I had to do is walk through it!) I decided one morning that I want to study Metaphysics in depth - to find out for myself what the law of the universe is about... how to connect with the universe and understand the guidance I get from my soul - by doing that I will have the skill & knowledge to help me on my spiritual path, 'heal' myself and also help others in the process. In other words, put my knowledge to practice. If you were going to learn to play the piano, no matter how much you read about pianos, composers and musical notes, you would not be able to play the piano. You would have to sit down at a piano and put your knowledge to practice.
I battled with the idea for a few days... it is something I want to do for myself, but again I let what "was accepted by society & family" interfere with my quest. When I discussed my desire with my husband, he gave me his full support and said that I must do what I feel is right for me and that I must do it for myself. I asked for guidance, and this is the message I received:

Intentions
